The admin and payroll for the NTL Pension Plan will be transferred from XPS to PIC on 19th October. This in advance of the full Buy-out with PIC (www.pensioncorporation.com) that is expected to complete next year. There will be a letter to Plan Members from the Trustees about this change imminently. From this date all admin contact for the Plan will be via PIC rather than XPS.
The current XPS website (mypension.com/ntlplan) will no longer give contact details for XPS so the letter is important. Other info there on the Plan may be discontinued. It also explains a change that may be seen in HMRC online accounts and app mentioning a P45, but that one will not be generated and that payments will continue as normal.
The next payroll run will come via PIC. We have also been advised that the administration by PIC is actually carried on their behalf by a firm called Howden, until recently known as Barnett Waddingham, although all communications are expected to be branded as PIC.
